Wall leading up to the ceiling of St. Mary’s Basilica Last year I visited one of Poland’s most impressive Gothic structures, St. Mary’s Basilica. The interior was absolutely gorgeous! Eye candy is everywhere you look– from the painted ceilings to the oil paintings, art and sculpture that decorate the walls and side chapels. […]
Bolivia’s geothermal region is the highest in the world. So even if the sulphur smell doesn’t get to you, the altitude will! Kim & David,
I am planning on photographing southern Moravia at the end of April 2014. I want to seek out the rolling green hills. Any suggestions on where to visit and where to base out of would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Jim Nilsen

Hi Jim, Photographing the rolling green hills in the spring time will be fabulous!! Lucky you! I stayed in the village of Mikulov in South Moravia, Czech when I was there. But the rolling green hills were a good hour away. My guide really didn’t have a specific idea where to go as historic sites were usually on his itinerary. So the best thing I would suggest is to do a google search to match up what you’re wanting to capture. I did list the region belonging to the photos above. The little village of Mikulov was a nice base as you can easily walk to most anywhere and explore a castle and Jewish cemetery. I’d love to see some of your spring shots when you return! Please consider posting some here as a guest blogger.
